Consisting of multiple urban garden allotments across the UK city centres. These gardens will be community led, producing organic food for the community including schools and charities.
The allotments will use a vertical farming system as well as regular raised beds to make the most of the space. Vertical farming allows for reuse of waste water.
The gardens will also consist of social seating areas to promote the use of green spaces in urban areas which has been shown to have a positive effect on mental wellbeing.
Food grown can be distributed across communities in cities including vulnerable people, food banks and schools. Any leftover food can be sold at city markets to reduce food waste.
Food being grown locally reduces carbon emissions and the need for transport of goods from abroad.
