MenoNet

A community pop-up service for menopause

Design a sustainable system which supports those experiencing menopause in the UK which prioritises creating a comfortable, safe community for people to share their experiences and get quality advice.

MenoNet consists of a portable pop-up structure which travels across the UK. At these pop-ups, users can get advice from specialists and talk with friends and family about menopause in a safe space.

This project aimed to address the stigma around menopause and normalise the effects it has on people. The initial idea originated from conversations with friends and family and the realisation that menopause was not spoken about or taught in schools even though it is something that will affect half the population.

The pop-up is designed to be easily transported and constructed without large machinery and little tools.
